Where do the American cars come from and how are they selected at origin?
+
They come from insurance auctions in the United States and Canada (Copart, IAAI, Manheim). They are bought and selected by my partner in Lithuania, who has spent years personally choosing each vehicle at origin to make sure the damage is only repairable impact damage, ruling out units with non-viable structural damage or flooding. I work with those cars once they are in Lithuania and sell them to dealers in Spain, Italy and Switzerland.
How can I check the real condition of the vehicle before it is repaired?
+
We give you the VIN, the full Carfax report and the original US auction photos before the purchase is formalised. You get full access to the incoming condition, the original damage and the car's history.
What repair and parts standard is used at the workshop in Lithuania?
+
Repairs are carried out entirely at my partner's workshop in Lithuania by American-brand specialists. Original or certified-quality parts are used, alignment and chassis measurement are done on a jig, and every unit is road-tested before it is signed off.
Which European-spec conversions are already fitted in Lithuania?
+
Every car leaves with the European technical conversion completed and working: rear lights adapted with amber indicators, rear fog light with switch and warning lamp, headlight beam adjustment and fixed side markers disabled.
Can American cars be ordered to spec or with custom upgrades?
+
Yes. My partner can bid on specific configurations at auction (model, engine, trim or colour), and cosmetic packages and technical upgrades (body kits, exhausts, suspension, wheels) can be fitted at the workshop before dispatch is arranged.
What paperwork and plates does the vehicle come with?
+
Vehicles are delivered registered in Lithuania and recorded in the official vehicle register (Regitra). The vehicle is formally cleared into the European Union and has its EU registration certificate.
Who handles type approval and registration in the destination country?
+
The buying company. Iván Mora brokers the deal and the car leaves Lithuania registered in the EU (Regitra) with the European technical conversion completed. Type approval and registration in Spain, Italy or Switzerland are the responsibility of the company buying the vehicle.
How is the sales invoice issued to a trade buyer?
+
It is a B2B sale under the standard regime. A direct intra-EU commercial invoice at 0% VAT (via VIES / ROI operator registration) is issued from the Lithuanian company to your company.
Can I inspect the car before it is loaded onto the truck?
+
Yes. I send you detailed videos and high-resolution photos of the bodywork, underbody, engine bay and interior. Any professional or technical inspector appointed by your company can also visit the premises in Lithuania to check the vehicle in person.
How is transport handled and how long does delivery to Spain take?
+
I arrange road transport on a car transporter with comprehensive insurance. Typical transit from Lithuania to your yard in Spain is 5 to 8 working days after loading.
How do reservation and payment work?
+
A B2B sales contract is signed linked to the VIN, and a bank deposit is paid to reserve the unit. The balance is transferred once the vehicle has been checked, documented and is ready to be loaded onto the transporter.
What exactly does Iván Mora do in a deal?
+
Iván Mora is the broker between the stock of American cars in Lithuania and the dealer in Spain, Italy or Switzerland. He finds and proposes units already in Lithuania, sends photos, videos and paperwork, coordinates the spec, the B2B contract, the invoice and the transport, and is the dealer's single point of contact. Buying at auction, repairs and registration in Lithuania are handled by his Lithuanian partner.
Does Iván Mora sell American cars to private buyers?
+
No. Iván Mora works with dealers, used-car traders and self-employed traders who buy in Lithuania to resell in Spain, Italy or Switzerland. Type approval, chassis number stamping and registration at destination are handled by the dealer with their end customer.
How much does an American car bought in Lithuania cost?
+
It depends on each unit: its condition at auction, year, mileage, trim and engine, the spec the dealer asks for (for example a GT500 kit or a standard one) and its condition on arrival in Lithuania. That is why every car is quoted individually. As a real reference, a 2021 Ford Mustang EcoBoost 2.3 Convertible with 61,000 km was sold in 2026 to a dealer in Spain for €26,000 plus €800 transport, at 0% VAT as a business-to-business sale.
